AN-GSHDSL-ETH modem uses G.SHDSL technology, complying with the ITU and ETSI standards, to extend the range of 10/100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet interfaces.

AN-GSHDSL-ETH modems use TC PAM-16 line coding, equalization, adaptive filtering and echo cancellation to compensate for line impairments, bridge taps and mixed cabling. This provides immunity to backgroundnoise and enables transmission of multiple SHDSL lines on the samephysical cable. AN-GSHDSL-ETH can be managed via VT-100 compatibleAsynchronous Terminal Interface. 
AN-GSHDSL-ETGH is equipped with anadaptive auto rate capability that identifies the maximum line ratesupported by the copper loop.
